Pasay supports 12th Travel Madness Expo 2025

The 12th edition of the Travel Madness Expo brought vibrant energy and excitement to Pasay City as thousands of travel enthusiasts gathered at the SMX Convention Center on July 11, 2025. Recognized as one of the country’s biggest travel events, the expo has become a much-anticipated annual occasion for both industry stakeholders and the traveling public. This year’s theme, “A Dozen Reasons to Travel the World,” celebrated the many opportunities and experiences waiting for Filipino and international travelers alike.

In her message read during the opening ceremony, Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano underscored the city’s support for the event and its goals. “This annual event has always been in everyone’s calendars. A sought-after event, and for good reason. This expo has been the bridge connecting our people to traveling opportunities,” she said through City Tourism Head Lesley Anne Calixto-Rubiano. The mayor also highlighted how the expo complements the city’s efforts to promote eco-conscious and sustainable tourism while showcasing the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage.

More than 250 exhibitors participated this year, offering an impressive array of travel products and services. The booths featured National Tourism Organizations, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, travel agencies, and even amusement parks. Complementing these were retail and food outlets, insurance companies, and other travel-related businesses, providing visitors with diverse options to plan their dream trips. Attendees also enjoyed exclusive discounts, packages, and giveaways throughout the event.

The expo not only boosted enthusiasm for international and domestic travel but also strengthened collaborations between local government and private tourism stakeholders. With Pasay City’s continuing support, the Travel Madness Expo remains a cornerstone event for promoting travel, sustainability, and Filipino hospitality to the world. Organizers expressed optimism that future editions would draw even bigger crowds and further contribute to the country’s thriving tourism industry.
