The Travel Madness Expo (TME) 2026 is doubling down on accessibility and scale through a new partnership with Metrobank, positioning this year's event as a one-stop hub for discounted global travel and financing options.
Organizers are leaning into affordability and convenience as core selling points, bundling exclusive travel deals with bank-enabled payment flexibility. The tie-up allows consumers to secure trips upfront while spreading costs over time-a model increasingly popular among cost-conscious travelers.
What's new
Metrobank cardholders will gain access to exclusive discounts, installment plans, and bundled offerings that go beyond flights and hotels. Packages include themed "toys" travel experiences, insurance, and curated itineraries designed to capture niche travel interests.

Why it matters
The Philippines travel fair circuit is highly competitive, with online platforms dominating price discovery. TME's strategy is to differentiate through "event-only" pricing and in-person access to tourism boards, aiming to create urgency and value that digital channels cannot replicate.
The expo will span four halls at the SMX Convention Center, hosting tourism authorities from destinations including Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Guam, Georgia, Czech Republic, and Papua New Guinea. This breadth underscores a push to diversify outbound travel beyond traditional hotspots.
